So, most everyone knows about Reagan's incredible imagination. Sometimes too much. She hears everything. Hence her plethora of knowledge about a lot of things kids her age shouldn't know or whatever. She can tell me conversations I guarantee people had no idea she was listening to. Like my friend said "Little elephants have BIG ears". It is SO her. We say she is like my sister Jessica who has wonder ears. Hears things through walls, heck, even across state!! Well, I think all of this, plus her interest in all things "older" has lead her to have quite an imagination.
With all of that, let me introduce you to Rascal. Rascal is a member of our family via marriage. Yep, marriage. Marriage to whom?? Why Reagan of course! He's her husband. He appeared several months ago and has stayed in spite of encouragement to leave (on our parts). Daily information out of her little brain about Rascal. Her and Rascal have 16 kids. The only one we hear about is Gabby. Gabby this, Gabby that, etc. Rascal doesn't really like Mike and I though. We don't know what he looks like, and he won't come to dinner when invited. He's somewhat of a brute sometimes. Like when she awoke with a sore back and it was because he kept kicking her in the back while sleeping. When this happened we thought he needed to move away. Instead, she married someone named Paublo...he only stayed a few days. His hair was so long everyone stepped on it! Horrible :)
Rascal is definitely a hypochondriac. Always at the hospital for some illness or another and last night she told me that he works waaaayyyyy too much and she didn't like it. Mike wonders how you can actually dislike an imaginary creature so much. He's become part of our daily conversations, part of our family, and part of why Reagan is so dang lovable. I've researched imaginary friends, and funny enough, there was an article in the Parent magazine this month about them. The conclusion is, it's ok. It's normal, and hopefully, it's just a phase. We'll embrace it and we will embrace him :O)

Oh yeah, you have to love to hear about Raschel!!!!!
That's adorable! I've actually heard (maybe I read it somewhere ) that imaginary friends are a sign of intelligence. So there. We all knew she was intelligent. But now it is official. :)
