Mother's Day Weekend

Grandma Judy

Great Grandma Leila (Kade was like this for every shot!)

Our kids DO LOVE the dogs!

Grown Up

Can you believe I let her "craft" on that expensive thing! Look at her all "knowing what I am doing with my hand on my hip"!

Blackfoot fun ;)

There is a man-made lake of some kind just off the freeway at Blackfoot. There is a huge park area and even lots of playgrounds. I do enjoy having Mike home in the middle of the week. If we adventure out, it's usually not crowded. Yesterday was sunny, but breezy and a little chilly but not bad, so we decided to check this site out. Reagan loved running in the sand and dipping her toes into the water. Kade hated getting dirty, but loved picking up rocks and pointing to the birds ;) Can't wait for it to be "summer" and we can go there and actually play in the sand/water...oh, but a big sign warns of "swimmers itch" ha ha...wonder what that is!!

Zoo...part two...

This cute little furry thing is 2 months old and it's mama couldn't take care of her so she is being bottle fed and raised by the zoo.

I like the set up of the lion/tiger display here because you look down into the area so you don't have to search around for the things like other zoos.

Reagan at the goat petting zoo. She got to brush them...ew...dirty!

I promise I won't post pictures EVERY time we go to the zoo. But, since I didn't post many from last time, I thought I would post from our second adventure to the zoo with Aunt Heidi and my friend Lauri who was visiting us from UT :)

15 months!

15 month stats are height 32.5" (88%) weight 24.75 (50%) and last but not least...head circumference...19.5" (95%!!) no surprise there ;)
Never a dull moment with our little Kade. All boy and we love him!

His favorite spot

No, he's not breakdancin'...he's eating ice off the floor...yes, he does..and Yes, we let him :(

Two is ALWAYS better than one!

Doesn't matter the size of the spoon...just that you get something in your belly!

How he Rolls...

This is how Kade eats...there is more than this on the floor, walls, table, light socket....It's all I can take to not feed him.... but the little guy has to learn sometime I guess or else I feed him until he's 10.

Little Jammies

Seriously? What is it about little jammies that are so adorable? I love little jammies...I LOVE little boy Jammies!! I love that I get to do a whole 'nother version of clothes! And p.s....I can't WAIT to buy him some little wonder heroes undies!

Brown Eyed Girl

I was really sad when I realized that Reagan was going to have brown eyes...as one myself, I always long for another exciting color. But hers always show so much emotion. She's beautiful right? ;)

Easter 2011

I'm bummed. Somehow, someway, I deleted all of our Easter pictures off my little digital. BUMMER!! (My friend said this is karma because I have a nice SLR now and I couldn't bring myself to use it but... when I did the card was actually messed up so I took nice pics and they won't download!) Anyway, we had some super cute pics of the kids from discovering their Easter presents and that the bunny left footprints and little poop piles of jellybeans. Reagan was totally amazed. Kade could have cared less. We decided last minute to drive to my sisters house and have Easter dinner with some of my family. Afterward, my super stud muffin nephew received his Eagle Scout Award. We are so proud of him.

Adventure to the Zoo

Last Wed we decided to attempt the Tautphaus Park Zoo. I was sure it was a bunch of desert animals and probably some parrots thrown in for good measure. It was freezing cold and the wind was blowing(as always, but the kids like to be outside anyway. It turned out to be not bad. Not as great as other zoos, but hey, not bad for a small town in Idaho :) There were lions and tigers and bears oh my!!! Along with CUTE CUTE baby kangaroo, monkeys, and leopards. The kids didn't want to leave and the fabulous thing is the membership was cheap and it can get us into other zoos in other states as well. Guess we might be spending a lot of time there with or without the sun. However, I left the place without taking more than a handful of photos. I'm out of practice I guess!

I realized...

I realized today that I am NOT very efficient in keeping up/doing a lot of things. I realized I sleep with make-up on way too much...because I am way too lazy to take it off. I realized that I rarely remember to put deodorant on before 3 p.m. (I KNOW!!! sad, but TRUE). I realized my toenails have been multi-colored thanks to my daughter for way too long. I realized my daughter has way too many shoes, including 8 fabulous pair of flip-flops already and it's not even decent enough to wear them. Her lack of appreciation made me realize this :) I realized I can go an entire day without thinking about food but I can't go one hour from awakening without thinking about Diet Coke. I realized I must not care who sees me with white hair now because my dye jobs go further and further apart. I realized I am a decent cook and I venture to try things I don't always cook and they turn out to be really good. I realized I absolutely love grilled veggies and the fattening sausage that accompanies it. I realized I very much enjoy the 2 hours of alone time Mike and I get after putting the kids down. Even if it's catching up on gossip, watching episodes of Chopped (because it seems we have nothing else to watch), staying up way to late reading in bed. I realized I dream of Hawaii way too often maybe because I realized summer probably doesn't visit Idaho Falls. I realized that I really miss dear friends and I do miss seeing all the patients from my job. I realize I love that my daughter randomly and numerously says "I love you to the moon mommy". I realized...I am not that great anymore at keeping up with the blog!! I will try...I promise...as soon as I feel like maybe I have something anyone is interested in seeing or reading??!!
