Although we aren't having extreme heat, we are definitely in the throws of summer around here, and we are LOVING it!! It still gets into the 40's and 50's at night and we haven't yet reached high 80's, but on the days it does, to us, it feels nice and warm.
Sprinklers under the trampoline is a favorite part of the day. It gets turned on and off numerous times!

As well as sprinklers in general :) Although Kade's not really a fan of running "through" them, more "around" them!

Who doesn't love a good book on a warm day:) Love that my kids love to read as much as we do. Reagan is participating in the Summer Reading Program and committed to reading 7 books a week. I had to limit her chapter books so she wasn't feeling overwhelmed at reading 7 of those!
Hello Little Lady!
Father's Day was beautiful so we loaded up the bikes and went to the Greenbelt (it's what they call the path around/along the Snake River in old "downtown" Idaho Falls. It's beautiful and a popular place for runners, bikers, feeding duck-ers, etc. The kids found an area to get their feet wet. Most of the area is definitely not kid-friendly and makes me nervous.
Papa let the kids wash his car when we were home last week, so Reagan wanted to prove that they knew what they were doing! And I have to say, they did a pretty impressive job.
We had a fun play date at the Zoo! Kade loves maps. He loves to figure out where everything is and boss everyone around.
One thing that is really sweet, cute, but also slightly annoying, is that Kade LOVES backpacks. He is a collector of all things. It depends on what his little obsession is for the day/week/month, but he always stuffs a backpack totally full of whatever it is, and that thing goes EVERYWHERE with him! I'm talking, swim lessons, the zoo, to get a snow cone, every car ride, etc. It's usually random, weird stuff but hey, it's his and he's awesome.
Most likely having a deep conversation about the daily life events of the One Direction clan.
And some more softball pictures. We are done next week and although it's fun, it's also going to be really nice to free up a few days:)

And this is what the Tot and I do while Sis and Dad do all the hard work. His hair is pure awesomeness.
Swim lessons were a success. Reagan did awesome and grew leaps and bounds in her ability to swim on her back and diving. She was already a pro at swimming under water.
At Nana and Papa's house for a few days. I sort of helped sort some things, and the kids had a great time playing. This tree in my parents yard is always entertainment for the grandkids. Although as brave and wild as Kade is, he does NOT like heights so trying to get him up there was a little bit of work! Rea isn't quite adventurous where heights are concerned either.
The garden is looking good. Our tomatoes are pathetic right now, and the dear pet Camo has taken a liking to beans, peas, onions, well, most everything, so unfortunately he's in his cage most days.
But when he gets out, he likes to chill :) He's either peeking to the neighbors house to determine if their veggies are better, or just chillaxin between the fence.
And the flowers FINALLY started blooming
