And the summer begins....

Our first guests of summer arrived last weekend!  My friend Christine and her two kids Jessica and Jacob came for the weekend.  My kids were so excited to have company.  Plus, if you know my kids, they are truly excited to have anyone come see them.  They love on them (probably too much) and they excitingly follow them and hover over them.  Christine's kids were troopers and we had a good visit!  Saturday we went to Bear World (or Growl World as Kade calls it).  It's a fun and expensive way to guarantee seeing Bears :)  After the drive through the Bear's habitat where we saw an Albino Elk (1 in 1 million), two BRAND new barely standing baby deer (SO cute!), mountain goats, buffalo, wolves, grizzlies, black, and brown bears, we then spent ample time in their kid carnival ride-type area and then gushed over the cuteness of bear cubs, and the petting zoo area. 

 If you haven't been here, there are something like 45 bears and they just wander the streets like there is nobody there.  One even came right up to the car when we were stopped (which they tell you not to do) :)

 The animals were all bottle fed and are used to all the people so they come up to you and yank on your shirts or shorts.  Kade was trying to get food out of here and this deer kept nuzzling him and trying to lick the dispenser because he knew what was coming!

 This was the ONLY time Reagan even came close to an animal :) She's mostly afraid of them I think (she blames it on a birthday party 4 years ago where she got hit in the nose by a cow!)

 Goodness these little things are so cute!  This one is a snuggler.  She couldn't get him to take his bottle.  He just kept hugging her and nuzzling her neck.  Awwwww!

Reagan also had her first games this week.  She loves it and she's pretty good!  They didn't practice them with the helmets so they girls were all trying to figure out how to keep them on.  Never mind they are probably 50 years old and heavy :)
