Football has always been a Sunday fun day at our house! Even when Reagan was a few months old she was watching it :O) This is pretty much her response when she see any type of "ball" though. And when she starts flapping her wings and you think something is wrong....she's just getting excited to say "bath" in sign.

Reagan LOVES SNOW! She's literally obsessed with it. It's snow this and snow that. Mostly she loves to EAT it. Aunt Heidi gave her snow in a bowl for breakfast. She also loves sledding! We took her on New Years Day across the street to the school. She wanted to go down the hills by herself and would drag her hand down in the snow while being pulled to scoop up a big ball to eat. An hour later her face was so red and she looked so cold but she refused to go in the house so away we went running up and down the parking lot with her while she had the biggest smile on her face.

Christmas 2007!
So another Christmas season has come and gone. Just when you think you can't take another day of Christmas music, crowded stores, or anxiety over the right gift, it's gone and you are left with "next Christmas will be so fun". December was a long month for everyone in our household as Mike had to be away from Reagan, Reagan went through Daddy withdrawals, and I wonder how on earth I could have survived one more day! I admit, I'm sort of a grinch at Christmas. I don't know why but my goal this year (which will probably be forgotten by the end of the month) is to be happier during December and make sure shopping is done or gifts made before the madness of the retail season hits. In spite of it all, we had a wonderful week with our families. Reagan didn't understand nor did she really care about any of her presents but the most important part to us is being able to spend time with families. We are lucky that both our families are in 1 locationa, although sometimes it involves stress (on my part mostly!) about who to spend time with because we love both our families equally and know that Reagan loves to see them all and of course, they love to see her. Any holiday is awesome when you spend it with family so we hope that you were all able to enjoy the season and spend time with your loved ones making memories, snapping photos, and eating WAY too much! Enjoy the pictures of our fun filled Christmas day!

Zoo Lights
This year the Hogle Zoo had "Zoo Lights" (not really any competition for the lights at Temple Square!) We had missed going all month of December so we chose to go the last day - December 31st - which also happened to be the coldest night yet in Salt Lake this year - 15 degrees!!! It wasn't bad the first 1/2 hour but within a matter of minutes the temperature dropped about 20 degrees and we had to make a run for the car with a screaming baby who was frozen in her chair and it wasn't much better for us. However, it was a neat idea and the decor was very cool although the only animals out that night were the cats and a bear!

ABC's
Ok, so everyone is probably sick of us obsessing with the fact that Reagan knows her ABC's. We've tried so many times to get them on camera so those who haven't witnessed the miraculous (grin) event, would be able to do so. However, camera on, not possible but Uncle Matt sat through about 20 versions of them last night. We finally had to force her to stop saying it! Here is the short version, only to be distracted by her favorite place to eat and her morning snack!
Dear Santa,
Rea's first letter to Santa:
Dear Sinta, (as so called)
My name is Rea Irene. I be good and I be HAPPY. I only be naughty at night when I wake up and daddy has to sleep on the couch with me. I want a puppy (a little one that doesn't smell or is hairy so mommy doesn't get mad). Oh yeah, I throw my food on the floor too but does that mean naughty? I want toys that make noise. I want a pony, lots of new clothes, and maybe some more teeth. Is that too much to ask?? Oh, and can I have all these things without having to sit on your lap? You are scary! Love, Reagan (now everyone chant "Sinta, Sinta, Sinta"

Thanksgiving 2007
Holidays are always fun and always crazy. We were in Idaho again with both families and had plenty to eat, little to sleep, and of course surrounded by kids. It's hard to believe that it is over and we are peeking around the corner at Christmas.
